FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Choose a Test Area: Select a discreet, sensitive area of skin to perform the patch test. The inside of your forearm or behind your ear are ideal spots because they are less visible and can give a good indication of how your skin may react.
Apply a Small Amount of Serum: Take a small drop of the serum and gently apply it to the chosen test area. Make sure the area is clean and dry before applying the product to ensure accurate results.
Cover the Area (Optional): To avoid accidental rubbing off, you can cover the test area with a bandage or adhesive patch. Make sure the patch allows the skin to breathe.
Wait for 24 Hours: Leave the serum on your skin for at least 24 hours. Avoid washing the test area during this time and refrain from applying any other products to the test spot.
Check for Reactions Throughout the 24 Hours: Monitor the test area for any signs of irritation, such as redness, itching, swelling, burning, or a rash. If you notice any of these symptoms, wash the area with mild soap and water and discontinue use.
Evaluate After 24 Hours: After the full 24 hours, inspect the test area. If the skin shows no signs of irritation, redness, or discomfort, the serum is likely suitable for your regular skincare routine.
If No Reaction Occurs: If you do not experience any negative reactions, you can proceed to use the serum on your face as directed. Start with a small amount initially and gradually increase usage to allow your skin to adjust.
In Case of a Reaction: If you experience a strong or persistent reaction, such as significant redness, itching, or swelling, wash the area immediately with lukewarm water and mild soap. Avoid using the product further, and if irritation persists, consider consulting a dermatologist.
Note: Even if the patch test is successful, discontinue use immediately if you experience any irritation or sensitivity when applying the serum to your face.
